Could be, just interested in your thoughts there? That is one of the toughest calls. Looking at the map it could go either way, and I thought I would send Tri-West north with Crawfordsville/North Montgomery. We have seen the committee's propensity to lump the P/Ps together in sectionals in the past, which would argue for Chatard in 28, but from strictly a geographic perspective it is a tossup. One of them will have to go North, will be very interesting to see which one it is.

Take Out South Vermillion (2A) and replace them with Danville. I also think the Tri-West will go North to sectional 28 and Chatard could possibly take their spot in sectional 29 or instead of Chatard they could move another team from Indy there. You have teams like South Vermillion, Southmont, Monrovia, Seeger, and Howe coming into 2A as well that would all seem more likely to head south than Tipton would. There will only be one softball team for Elkhart, one swimming team, etc-that all begins that school year. The next year, 2021-2022, is when the merged campuses will officially open (grades 10-12 at current Memorial location, grade 9 at current Central location). There is only one more school year, 2019-2020, of Memorial and Central fielding their own teams. 22 hours ago, Indian72 said: SO what happens to Memorial athletics with Mishawaka joining the NLC in 20-21 I believe? @Indian72 see @CoachMiller response. Memorial and Central athletics will merge starting the 2020-2021 season under the one Elkhart High School. There will be no disruption for Memorial athletics in 2020-2021 because there will not longer be a Memorial athletics department.

One of them has to move out east. Gonna come down to the KV versus Hobart argument. Furthest south, KV has no great travel path out east but easily works their way up I-65. Hobart can jump on 30 or 94, saving 20-30 minutes of travel time. Has to play a factor in the decision.

Hopeful there's no one from the 3A North or West Lafayette on it. Put them in the "Region" sectional. They can hop on I-65 after school and be there by kickoff.
