Fixed it... Pizza is not real food. I'm sick and tired of getting dirty looks when I wear my grease stained pizza jacket around town, and having to quickly stop to explain to people that what they've seen is not real food, and that it's not all a joke. I busted my Butt playing pizza critic in school, from the time I earned my first fat roll in 96 to the time I hit 300lbs in 2002, I even set the school record for most slices eaten, one which I am extremely proud of, and hope it remains for a long time. Then I move out to indiana 2 years ago, and get compared to these 1a pizza joints, this is a sham. I suggest these schools replace pizza with a wholesome food like salads, itd be no less fattening than they've got going now, and people would get less confused about what hs food really is. On top of that there would be much less of a chance of obesity. Thoughts?

I'd hope you set the Quarter record with a 6 year high school career. Most above average athletes only get 4 years to try to achieve what you were able to do in 6... Probably came from Kentucky didn't ya?

1A Schools Adams Central, Busco, and South Adams are currently 10-1 vs 2A, 3A, and 4A schools in NE Indiana.

I don't have an issue with Colson dropping football with whats at stake for him. He has top tier NCAA baseball coaches drooling over him wanting him to come play baseball and most colleges have said we will let him play basketball too. Heck, he may never go to college because he may end up being drafted so high it makes sense to go straight to the pros(Minors). He is still a multi-sport athlete. I just dont like seeing kids only play one sport to specialize.

They scored 26 on Attica (nothing against Attica), and you think they'd put 63 on Linton and score in 2-3 plays every possession LMAO. Linton would boat race the Rox/Warriors

What about Jeff Adamson at Eastbrook? 270-88 in year 31. Plenty of consistency at a smaller public school. Very hard to not feel the talent gaps in a school that size, but every year he has them competing for a Sectional.

I busted my butt to earn four letters in high school. And slept thur most of the school part to graduate in four years. Fortunately in one of my better decisions, I never purchased a letter jacket. I wish I was that smart with a class ring.

Another thing....film study should be a credited high school course.

I am stunned and amazed that CJB hasn't been brought up. Simply amazing the man who brought proper hydration the high school game in Indiana isn't even mentioned in this thread.

You guys are showing calpreps this calpreps that...but look at this. this years team is only 4 points better than last years team according to the computer....which is malarkey imo. This teams defense has really stepped up and is pretty fast. The 2015 team with klem is the only team I would argue had a better defense. In terms of offense...this year it’s really special. In years past running the up tempo, GS almost struggled to drive the ball down the field. It was largely chunk plays and there were plenty of times where you could get GS to a 3 and out. It’s the downfall of up tempo. If you get stalled, you just give the ball right back and the other team can eat up clock. It’s been the gameplan of other teams.....but this years team there are simply so many weapons and they have shown that they will drive the ball down the field if you stop the big plays. It’s truly something different this year. Between delong butler and May at WR, any of those 3 could go for well over 100 yards on a given night. Butler can play RB in place of Spindler...Spindler has really stepped up as a pass catching RB too. This last week we seen a new wrinkle of using the TE a lot more. The OL is also improved over last year in that they are picking up blitzes better and playing smarter. This is all without even factoring in Allen who spent all off season training at camps and going to 7on7s and is playing like a true upperclassman. all in all, the computer projections can say whatever but it simply isn’t as accurate as it should be to speculate like we want to. This year’s GS team is much better than just a 4 point spread over last years and that’s a testimony to how much these returning players have worked to get better. Speculate all you want about memorial vs GS but it’s pointless. I think what we really need to be talking about is this matchup in 2 weeks in the jungle. Last year Heritage Hills smacked GS bad and handed them a 31-7 loss. After the game, Coach Hart was very upset and said on the radio broadcast “whatever it takes, I’m going to find 11 kids who want to play titan football”. Heritage Hills has returned a ton of their team and are locked and loaded. Memorial Vs GS is for the birds GIbson Southern @ Heritage Hills is the game we need to talk about. And imo I would probably rank them 1A 1B in this ranking.

That is the way statistics work, they get more dialed in with more data points. The more games you have to draw from the more accurate the numbers are. Truthfully, sagarin is generally right on after the state championships.

And with the way it’s written use your lawyer powers I read that coaches can’t over ride the implementation of the rule in the second half but I don’t see where that means they can’t use it in the first. How about this. ITS THE COACHE’S RULE! And if it’s 41-0 int he first and the coach says get me outta here you should be able to and I don’t see where you can’t. And how about the job he's done so far this year? My goodness. After all the kids they lost to graduation from last year's team, it's like they haven't missed a beat. The win over Monroe Central was an eye-opener. Looking forward to their week 6 match-up with South Adams. Hopefully everyone stays healthy on both teams.

I read it as they can’t override it being implemented. It’s absolutely stupid if it’s 41-0 in the 1st q and the losing coach asks for a running clock and we don’t give it to them. Another nonsense application of a rule that shouldn’t be that difficult

Seems to be some delusional fans that think PH is unstoppable probably the same fans as last year that thought PH could beat NV in Rockville. Brian Moore is a good coach but can you be great when you cant be Brian Crabtree? NV is still the Champ of the WRC and will continue to be #1 in my power rankings until someone in the WRC can knock them off

I just made new predictions in the post above yours. The predictions you quoted were my preseason predictions I made before week 1. I do agree with you about North Vermillion now after seeing their result against Linton-Stockton. I think North Vermillion’s conference and sectional is a toss-up between them and Parke Heritage. I now have South Adams winning class 1A. I still think Western Boone is the best team in class 2A. They took their foot off the gas pedal and blew a big lead against a good class 4A Western team and only lost by 1 point. I think that’s the only time Western Boone loses this season.

I will admit to being very surprised by the Warrior win. Certainly this makes me think twice about the Warriors.. The talk was that their D was good, but the offense? I only saw video from the Sullivan 15-12 loss...and thought.. yes. .the D held a potent Arrow attack at 15, all early... but the offense? Then they put 65 and 44 points back to back and held both opponents to 0.. but again... Eastern G is 0-4, Tecumseh is 1-3 (their win over 0-4 Pike Central). I thought Boonville would be too big too quick too much depth... etc... I had looked at that big QB and that speedy RB and some of those big guys up front and thought.. ok.. we will see what NK can do. Well we did. THey held the Pioneers to 6 for a long time.. and 2 TD's til deeper in the game... but the surprise here is the 34 points put up. Holtman Doades 219 rushing yards!! Cole Richter another 116?? I was very surprised. I guess maybe I put too much stock in the Pioneers beating Vincennes Lincoln 19-6. I mean they are 1-3 too. And Washington is 0-4 as well. I thought the Jasper loss might be more that Jasper was ultra fired up after a loss to Southridge....and considering the Wildcats other 2 losses are to Memorial & Heritage Hills! Sounds like NK was very physical.. and just pounded the Pioneers up front. I mean that's what NK's offense has been for many years now. That's how they make their hay. Now if Linton can match that physicality.. which is definitely a Miner trademark, and run the ball anywhere like the Warriors did.. which is another Miner trademark.. I feel good about the Miner chances this week. But that said.. i would imagine this was a major disappointment for boonville. I would imagine there will be some serious work put in this week and some massive challenges presented to the Pioneer players... They are the defending Big 8 champs.. I know there has to be some pride there. I can't fathom they won't be better prepared for this week... some changes or alterations made... i know Linton cannot take Boonville for granted. It's a chance to play someone in 4A and prove ourselves just as it was for North Knox.
