Yea man, I know I look at this game from a different lens then you do, but from my lens, I would find that more disrespectful8 points

When Tom Landry passed away, he was greeted at the Pearly gates by Saint Peter. St. Pete said "Welcome Coach Landry and job well done. We have a surprise waiting for you that we think you'll be very pleased with." He led Coach Landry through the gates and down a golden road. Coach Landry's curiosity and excitement began to grow as he saw that they were walking towards a large stadium. As they came closer, Coach Landry could hear the sound of loud cheers. He looked at St. Peter who simply smiled back at him. When they arrived at the stadium St. Peter led him through the tunnel and onto the playing field. The stadium erupted with cheers when the crowd of angels saw him walking toward the sideline. St. Peter turned to him and said with a wink "Welcome to the game Coach Landry. We've been patiently awaiting this day." Coach Landry looked across the field and saw his old friend and rival Vince Lombardi waiving to him, ready to do battle once more. As St. Peter turned to walk away Coach Landry stopped him and said "Saint Peter, this is all wonderful. I can't wait to start the game, but before you go I have to ask you a question. I see there is a strange tower like contraption located behind each endzone. What are those?" Saint Peter replyed "those are endzone cameras. They film the game from an elevated endzone perspective for you to use for evaluation and teaching purposes. It's a fascinating tool that has evolved for coaches. Your camera is located in the South endzone. It's a Sideline Power 20 foot High Definition model with a 19 inch monitor. It's a really good model. I think you'll be very pleased with the results." Saint Peter could see that Coach Landry had a puzzled look on his face so he asked him what was wrong. Coach Landry replied "Well Saint Peter, I certainly don't mean to complain, but I can see that Coach Lombardi has a much taller endzone camera in the North endzone. Why does he get to use that one and what is the difference between it and my model?" Saint Peter smiled with a look of amusement washing over his expression. He nodded and said "Oh, that's a Hi-Pod X31 endzone camera. It has a 31 foot telescoping tower, High Definition camera, 11 inch High Definition monitor, and premium rain gear. Also, that's not Coach Lombardi's endzone camera. That's God's endzone camera".5 points

100% agreed! I’m ready to see how we perform as a team. CG is one of the top 5 schools that I hold the most respect for outside of CE.. I’ve seen CG and the constant success they have and have always admired how they have been able to produce every year. The same for New Pal, after hearing some of Coach Ralph’s post game talks.. that guy gets it. All I hope for is a good clean and injury free game for both schools tomorrow, and that fans get to see both teams perform at a high level.4 points

That's why I enjoy the all in. On any given Friday during the playoffs, the best team doesn't always win.3 points

Sorry that you cannot fathom that a Coach could actually still get something out of every second of a 48 minute game, regardless of the score. As a Fan, I could see why you want to get to the car as quickly as possible. Hence different lens we see the game played by children from. For me, this is my career and profession, for others its a hobby.3 points

I don't think Jeff over Merrillville is that much of an upset, I just wonder how much scoring there will be. I also am concerned if there are end zone cameras, but that's another story.3 points

I got a reprieve. I was going to have to miss tonight's LCC-CP game as I'm being the supportive husband and dad and going to one of my wife's work functions with the kids tied to families/kids. Luckily, the LCC football game got moved to tomorrow because of the LCC girls' soccer state game. Get brownie points with the wife and still get to see the sectional game!3 points

. . . "(a couple were even pretty lopsided losses)." Including the last two . . . and the two to North Montgomery in '95 and '96. 3A is a really tough competitive class and has been for quite a while. I don't see Chatard winning every game by 2+ touchdowns. I also don't think they are the favorite considering WL is the defending champion and has a ton of talent. While Chatard's skill position players are good, the real talent on the team has been the OL and DL. As long as they play well, they have a good chance of winning. But, as we know all too well, there are no guarantees.3 points

I do remember vividly, Clinton Prairie's coach being quoted in newspaper that LCC did absolutely NOTHING wrong and held no issues towards the outcome. I believe LCC was running QB sneaks for long yardage TDs'2 points

Ahhhh....this is the Gridiron digest....not the Grass-Fairy Forum! Be proud of what you want, but be somewhere else if your gonna boast about a sport that requires you to have acting skills over athletic skills. BTW....congrats on the no loss season.....#HangTheBanner2 points

https://reason.com/2019/10/31/cops-destroyed-this-house-to-arrest-a-shoplifter-a-federal-court-says-police-dont-have-to-pay-for-the-damage/ Despicable. Yet another example of when you give local law enforcement military-grade weaponry they are going to use it like toys, and they apparently don't care what private property gets destroyed/damaged in the process.2 points

BG is physical and have three athletes in the backfield you need to stop. Everyone knows about Vann but #3 QB Mayersky is a tremendous runner, quick and elusive and adds an element to their offense that's difficult to stop. Then there is the mountain of a man, FB #41 Eriks. He is physical, blocks well, and runs the ball pretty well on a counter. I don't think people is giving BG enough credit but clearly I'm biased. I kinda wish I was heading to this game since no one is streaming it online but it is what it is. BG has improved in Coach K's three years there, he's done a great job. Hope the place is packed tonight.2 points

Sectional of death = snoozefest. Chatard wins the staye by 2TDs Every game of the tourney unless a catastrophic injury to Cheek, Daylen, or Sovinski. The D is ugly. Good night, 3A. Can’t believe these guys are still in that division. It’s a joke.2 points

I try not to whine about it, but I just feel bad for high school football programs that don't have a quality Endzone camera to use. As an example, Evansville Day school has never won a single football game in the history of their program. They also don't have an Endzone camera. Coincidence? Me thinks not.2 points

PAC Boys Basketball 2019-20 Forest Park The Rangers return 3 starters from last year including one PAC honorable mention selection. Drew Howard- Drew was selected PAC HM and averaged 8.5 ppg. Issac Uebelhor- Issac averaged 10.8 ppg in limited action due to injury but the Rangers were a much better team in the games he played. Simon Jacob- Simon averaged 9.3 ppg. Before the Hopf transfer I figured Forest Park would challenge Southridge as the top contender to try and unseat 2 time defending PAC champion Heritage Hills. Gibson Southern I couldn’t fine any stats for Gibson Southern but the return 3 starters Taylor Johanningsmeier, Aidan Neel and Adam May. Heritage Hills The Patriots return four starters including 3 All PAC selections. Murray Becher- Murray is a 4th year starter and averaged 20.4 ppg. Simon Scherry- Simon is a 3rd year starter and averaged 15.6 ppg. Blake Sisley- Blake is a 3rd year starter and averaged 12.8 ppg. Cole Sigler- Cole is a 2nd year starter and averaged 7.6 ppg. North Posey The Vikings return two starters including 1 ALL PAC and 1 PAC HM selection. Joshiah Ricketts- Joshiah was selected ALL PAC and averaged 22.7 ppg. Jonathan Ricketts- Jonathon was PAC honorable mention and averaged 9.4 ppg. Viking could be a dangerous opponent if they can find other scoring options to go with the inside outside combo of the Rickett brothers. Pike Central The Chargers return 2 starters Ethan Scott 9.0 ppg & Ethan Gorby 3.3 ppg. Southridge The Raiders return 2 starters including one All PAC selection. Colson Montgomery- Colson was selected All PAC and averaged 21.1 ppg. Garrett Voegerl- Garrett averaged 3.7 ppg. Montgomery is one of the top players in the state and Vorgerl and Gasser are unbelievable athletes the question is what do they have after that ? South Spencer The Rebels return 4 starters including 1 All PAC selection and 1 PAC HM selection. Couldn’t find stats for the Rebels but the returning starters are All PAC Jace Kelly HM PAC Kobe Bartlett, Matthew Smith and Michael Donoho. South Spencer guard play should be as good as any team in the PAC and if they can find solid post play they could contend for the title. Tecumseh Lost 5 starters to graduation. Tell City Lost 5 starters to graduation. Tell City did have a 18-3 JV team and was the only JV team to beat Heritage Hills JV who also went 18-3. HH beat TC 43-27 in the Forest Park JV Tournament then had to play them again a few weeks later then the Marksmen won the rematch 41-22. This is composed of memory and stats that I could find online .I cant remember much about the returning starters for Gibson Southern & Pike Central or the backups for Tecumseh to add any thought about them.1 point

JCD soccer team was legit this year, 18-2-2. AND JCD football team made it another year without a loss. I may have to check out this "tailgate" tonight at the Dawg Pound. Hopefully it isn't too rowdy and Triple C makes it to kickoff and K9 doesn't bite anyone before the game. I'm hoping for a Stink Town vs Casket Nation rematch. It's always fun when the Stink Boys come to town.1 point

Coach Funk took over an abysmal program in 2010. No losing seasons post-2011. I played for the man. If there's anything holding Mississinewa football back, it sure as heck isn't Curt Funk. Go figure out your Pete Gast issue, Alex. All you have to be excited about each week is who is gonna be loudest during your god-awful pre-game war chant thing. Is that supposed to be a haaka? Enjoy your L to Eastern. Glad to be back, GD!1 point
