  15. Anyone else see the irony of calling for the cops moments after protesting against the cops while breaking the law...... Here’s the “Peacful Protester” that was “Armed with a handgun”. While chasing a guy with a rifle he was shot in the arm. When you chase someone with a firearm while carrying a firearm don’t play victim when you get shot. “Peaceful Anarchist Protesters” wanted a war well now they got a war and when you’re at war bullets fly both ways so when you get hit don’t cry like a baby and expect sympathy. You’re not a victim.. He is also a Felon who should have never had a weapon in his hand That's gonna sting......

  16. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/don-lemon-turns-anti-riot-now-that-they-poll-poorly-for-the-democrats CNN’s Don Lemon is now anti-riot, but not because looting and violence are wrong. The cable news host who bills himself as a serious, objective journalist opposes the anti-police riots now because he is worried that the destruction and mayhem will hurt the Democratic Party’s electoral chances in the fall. How is that for a principled stand? Lemon’s about-face on the righteousness of rioting came Tuesday evening as his CNN colleague Chris Cuomo warned that the anti-police violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where two rioters have been shot and killed, is “a Rorschach test for where this country is.” Cuomo, who appears also to have experienced a change of heart on the issue of anti-police rioting due to bad polling numbers, added, “I think it probably represents the biggest threat to the Democratic cause.” Lemon agreed, saying Cuomo took the words right out of his mouth. “Kenosha is a Rorschach test for the entire country, and I think this is a blind spot for Democrats,” said Lemon. “I think Democrats are ignoring this problem or hoping that it will go away, and it's not going to go away.” “But guess what?” the cable anchor added. “The rioting has to stop. Chris, as you know and I know, it's showing up in the polling. It's showing up in focus groups. It is the only thing — it is the only thing right now that is sticking.” Ah, the rioting must stop because it polls poorly for the Democrats, not because people are getting hurt and livelihoods destroyed. Got it. This is such a farcical change of attitude for these two partisan operatives. Lemon himself defended anti-police riots in May, soft-pedaling them as the “mechanism for a restructure of our country or for some sort of change.” Lemon’s idiot co-worker, Cuomo, also attacked critics of the riots in June, claiming that “too many see the protests as the problem.” “And please,” Cuomo added at the time, “show me where it says that protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Because I can show you outraged citizens are the ones who have made America what she is and led to any major milestones.” The word "peaceably" is right there in the text of the First Amendment. Cuomo continued his attacks on those who have been critical of the rioters, claiming in July that they are “ignoring the reality and … are picking on the aberrations for bad reason.” But that was then. This is now. Now, polling and focus group results show that, actually, razing cities and towns to the ground is bad for the business of getting elected. “The ongoing violence in American cities is an increasing vulnerability for Dems,” communications professional and Bulwark publisher Sarah Longwell said on Aug. 24. “It’s popping in my focus groups as well. Americans were originally on the side of protesters. But as the unrest continues, attitudes are shifting. It’s the one R talking point starting to stick.” She added, “This is why Trump is leaning so hard into the LAW AND ORDER message. It’s starting to resonate — and beyond Trump’s base. And my guess is you’ll hear a lot about violence at the convention as R’s want to make sure they connect it to Democratic lead cities and not Trump’s America.” This is why two CNN anchors who have previously defended the anti-police riots have changed their minds suddenly. It is because the destruction may hurt the Democratic Party at the polls. Looks like the Democrats are starting to come to their senses.......

  20. According to http://www.almanacsports.com/ (great website @Rudy BTW,) this will be the first ever meeting between South Spencer and Mt. Vernon, first meeting between Southridge and Boonville since 73, first meeting between Princeton and North Posey since 07, and I assume first meeting between Whiteland and Gibson Southern ever but its not been updated on Almanac yet. Excited about some of these new games, grew up going to the old basketball sectional at Princeton. Always hated Princeton (probably because they usually had a good team.)

  25. Eastbrook has only played Delta twice. Last year the Panthers got shellacked. However, Delta took it on the chin in 2018. To say Delta has destroyed Eastbrook in the past makes it sound like they've beaten up on us numerous times. We are 1-1 against a good 4A team and Friday will be the rub match. The Sagarin ratings have it dead even. Eastbrook might be a 1 point favorite because of home field advantage but it should be a good game.

  31. This is one of those “you’re suppose to return the shopping carts to where they belong” things. will anything happen if you don’t? Nope. But what does it say if you refuse to and just leave it in a parking spot at least that is my thoughts on it lol.

  32. There are people who still refuse to wear masks, social distance, and wash their hands. How hard is that for people to understand? Ohio State suspended 228 students due to corona virus contact violations. Something to do with having parties and gatherings. Here in Indiana Holcomb was is was mandatory to wear masks in public but you won[t get fined or arrested if you are caught not wearing one. So what's the point then gov?

  33. Kids need to return to normal school. Especially IPS students. Parental guidance is their greatest weakness. Virtual classes will result in 30-40% not even logging in on any given day and running the streets instead. The human immune system is the key to stopping the spread. Our leaders have put their faith in sheltering in place and cheap non medical grade masks from China. Ridiculous!

  34. Every game this season will be played "at risk". I will say, it is beyond ludicrous for teams to be rolling around on each other, sweating, spitting, bleeding...................but they wave at each other after the game because heaven forbid they high five. That was hysterical at the end of the Sheridan/WeBo game.

  35. I think the Linton - Sullivan rivalry is the "oldest" rivalry in the the state but not as far as number of games played. The rivalry is second in that category. The first matchup between the two neighboring schools was in 1904. they missed nine years from 1911 to 1920, '21, and '23 to '25. This year marks the 95th consecutive game beginning with 1926. This year brings the total number of games between the rivals to 104 and, believe it or not, the series stands at Linton 51 - Sullivan 51 and two ties. GO MINERS !!! I've seen most all of the games in the last 80 years. I'll be watching on the TV this time. Biggest thrill. 22 -0 win at Sportland field at Sullivan in 1945 after a 13 game losing streak to the Arrows. Oh, yes. Until the playoff system started, the game was an annual Armistice day (now Veterans day) afternoon game on November 11 to close the season.

  36. CDC Director Robert Redfield stated "Suicide and drug overdoses are killing more young people than COVID as the two pre-existing epidemics have been exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic". "We're seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID". "We're seeing far greater deaths from drug overdose that are above the excess that we had as background than we are seeing deaths from COVID". The American Medical Association stated "Over 35 states have reported increases in opiod-related mortality as well as ongoing concerns for those with a mental illness or substance abuse disorder".
