  1. The 10 practice rule is for safety purposes. Waiving it is out of the question.

  2. Could you PLEASE stick to the topic? People looking for games don’t want to see this bogged down by other topics. Week 3 New Haven vs DeKalb has been cancelled by DeKalb, so New Haven is looking for a week 3 game.

  4. I probably need to explain first principles for me. I haven’t given a single downtick in the 12-13 years I’ve been around here. I gave Muda a couple when he p!ssed me off and then withdrew them 5 minutes later. I’ve always figured that if I really have a disagreement with someone, I’d argue it out. Otherwise, I just like being smarmy. But then....that’s just me. Hell, I’ve given Muda upticks in the middle of vicious disagreements just because he made a semi-good point...or made me chuckle (obviously accidental....since Muda has no sense of humor....waiting, waiting).

  5. Part of the downtick IMO is Howe has discredited the CDC but still uses their data in arguments... that and he rarly comments on the real topic, always has to be political and people are tired of it(part of the reason why so many topics have been closed in the past.

  15. We're #1! That's nothing to be proud of. We all want to get back to normal life, but 180,000+ deaths in less than six months is serious. I have a friend who was diagnosed back in March and he's still having problems. He was a healthy person, and still working full time. Please don't try to convince us that it's not serious.

  16. CDC Director Robert Redfield stated "Suicide and drug overdoses are killing more young people than COVID as the two pre-existing epidemics have been exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic". "We're seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID". "We're seeing far greater deaths from drug overdose that are above the excess that we had as background than we are seeing deaths from COVID". The American Medical Association stated "Over 35 states have reported increases in opiod-related mortality as well as ongoing concerns for those with a mental illness or substance abuse disorder".

  35. I see it as a great opportunity for Pioneer to gauge where they're at, but injuries are a concern as Pioneer only has 32 or 33 on the roster this year due to a very small freshman class. Too bad Pioneer doesn't still have Kiser and Co. from a few years ago. Pioneer plays 4A New Haven in week 3. I see that as a more winnable game for them, but still a challenge.

Additionally, investigators cleared 26 arrest warrants and filed additional charges for alleged crimes related to sex trafficking, parental kidnapping, registered sex offender violations, drugs and weapons possession, and custodial interference. The 26 warrants cleared included 19 arrest warrants for a total of nine individuals arrested, some of whom had multiple warrants. Photo by: Shane T. McCoy / US Marshals Photo by: Shane T. McCoy / US Marshals Photo by: Shane T. McCoy / US Marshals Photo by: Shane T. McCoy / US Marshals Photo by: Shane T. McCoy / US Marshals “The U.S. Marshals Service is fully committed to assisting federal, state, and local agencies with locating and recovering endangered missing children, in addition to their primary fugitive apprehension mission,” said Director of the Marshals Service Donald Washington. “The message to missing children and their families is that we will never stop looking for you.” These missing children were considered to be some of the most at-risk and challenging recovery cases in the area, based on indications of high-risk factors such as victimization of child sex trafficking, child exploitation, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and medical or mental health conditions. Other children were located at the request of law enforcement to ensure their wellbeing. USMS investigators were able to confirm each child’s location in person and assure their safety and welfare. The Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015 enhanced the U.S. Marshals’ authority to assist federal, state, and local law enforcement with the recovery of missing, endangered or abducted children, regardless of whether a fugitive or sex offender was involved. The Marshals established a Missing Child Unit to oversee and manage the implementation of its enhanced authority under the act. In 2019, the USMS helped recover 295 missing children based on requests for assistance from law enforcement and has contributed to the recovery of a missing child in 75 percent of cases received. Additionally, of the missing children recovered, 66 percent were recovered within seven days of the USMS assisting with the case. Since its partnership with NCMEC began in 2005, the agency has recovered more than 1,800 missing children. “When we track down fugitives, it’s a good feeling to know that we’re putting the bad guy behind bars. But that sense of accomplishment is nothing compared to finding a missing child,” said Darby Kirby, Chief of the Missing Child Unit. “It’s hard to put into words what we feel when we rescue a missing child, but I can tell you that this operation has impacted every single one of us out here. We are working to protect them and get them the help they need.” This initiative was the culmination of several months of planning and coordination between the USMS, NCMEC, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Office of the Attorney General, Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. 43. Not sure why you received a downtick for this (at least the first paragraph...I can’t verify the second.....mainly because I’m lazy). The first paragraph was a quote, though....I found it pretty easily (which means anyone could). The last thing one is allowed to do these days, apparently, is report the truth....you must have missed the memo. But hey, its not like you’re writing for the New York Times or anything.....

Smith was at MLB in those fronts with Eslinger outside. Pass D will be obviously tested with Sullivan's wide open attack, but did well vs Raiders (3-13-35 yards) not giving up the big play. All new Defensive Backfield. 28 points from Southridge were really not a reflection on the performance of Miner D... 1 TD was pick six, two others from drives started within the Miner Red Zone, the other after a pick retuArrowrned to the MIner 30. Southridge ran 51 times for 249 yards and 284 total yards on the night. Smith with 20 tackles, Eslinger and Gennicks each over 10. THis game is very important for Linton. Arrows have numbers and depth..plus size. Have several run options...yet several pass options as well. Linton did not show much of either.. granted... Southridge is one of the better programs in the southern part of Indiana. LInton will have to eliminate numerous false start penalties...and i did notice Sullivan had over 100 yards in penalties... but the turnover were crucial to Linton' s demise. One that didn't show up on turnovers but was just a bad was the busted pitch out on 3rd down in the only appearance in Raider Territory on that first drive. Also noticeable were a couple big glitches in the return game. Twice, one on a punt, another on a kickoff...you could tell the youth and inexperience.. but both times Linton ended up with the ball. Linton is going to have to be able to run the ball....and to do that, the offensive line is going to have to win the trenches more often than not. I fear depth issues will be in play for Linton... HAving both Smith and Eslinger..and Goodman... all key offensive players.. also on defense put a lot on these guys. Granted 8 MIners play both ways this year. I am very very interested in how LInton comes out in this game..and how they handle adversity again...this time in a huge rival. I am interested in senior leadership on a team with only 5 to start with...and 2 of them are injured and out. Go mIners .

  47. I work in a manufacturing plant with over 1,000 union members where 80-90% refuse to wear masks or social distance. Our plant never shut down and has worked 10 hours per day 6-7 days per week since the coronavirus outbreak. We have had 5 people test positive for the coronavirus on two separate occasions. We have high tech temperature scanners for everyone who enters the plant. I observe hundreds of people playing cards at picnic tables each day during their breaks and lunch periods. They sit across from each other and no one is more than two feet from the other three workers. Our plant has had no further spread of the coronavirus during the past 3 and a half months. It would be interesting to conduct coronavirus antibody tests on the entire workforce. I would not be surprised if 50% or more tested positive. I suspect the workforce has developed herd immunity and that is the reason the virus has not spread for 3 and a half months

  48. Kids need to return to normal school. Especially IPS students. Parental guidance is their greatest weakness. Virtual classes will result in 30-40% not even logging in on any given day and running the streets instead. The human immune system is the key to stopping the spread. Our leaders have put their faith in sheltering in place and cheap non medical grade masks from China. Ridiculous!
