  2. At one point in the 00s, Southern Indiana (Bloomington, Vincennes and Santa Claus) touted three active NFL quarterbacks concurrently (Rexman, Cutler and Painter).

  3. I've never been there, I just searched the towns in the Breaded Pork Tenderloin Hoosier Style Facebook Group and those were the places that have been mentioned in there before. I'd post a link to the Group, but I know Mudas wouldn't be caught dead on Facebook and he'll say it right to your face.

  7. He did have two NFL offensive lineman. But Otis at the time broke the state rushing record the year he won and likely would have added to it had they not been upset early in sectionals.

  8. Bad Boyz vs. Mardi Gras River Rats Rumor has it KFI may be sitting some starters for this game… not sure if the Trojan Flu is hitting them or they already know what the outcome will be with them. The positive is Coach Boom gets to come home for his Alma Mater homecoming. Trojans 52 River Rats 0 Chicken and Jo Joe’s vs. Little Ralphie FC gets a rebound against the Greensburg JV team 42-0 Speedway vs Connertucky Spartans win in a close one 21-14 ND vs Rushville Rushville with the W. Game of the week GreyDog vs. Stink Town If #10 is back for Stinktown Little Brother wins 28-21. If #10 is still out GreyDog wins 20-14 I did hear Boom and Homie plan on enjoying the homecoming festivities at EC.

  9. I hate the closed SIAC. I wish we were tiered like the PAC. Would love to get the Southridge and HH rivalry games back.

  10. That doesn't include the Culver game where I think Shively was 5/6 in the first half. I don't think he kicked the PATs while the JV was playing the second half. He's a skilled kicker! Just a couple of lapses in concentration, I would guess. But I wouldn't hesitate to run him out there for a 40+ yarder if the situation called for it.

  11. Dammit Donnie, where's the negative? I suppose you switched from Zubaz to camo, didn't you? Didn't I just read you died of accidental Fentanyl & alcohol poisoning? Even Jesus couldn't come back from that concoction. I'll say that straight to your face. If you're not an Attica boy then I'm the King of Judyville.

  15. I'd like to see the SIAC split into divisions (however they want to do it) to allow for non-conference games to be scheduled. That breaks up some of the redundancy some teams get, especially those in 4A.

  16. I completely agree with you here. I really wish they would find a way to break up the sectional so we could have a chance to see new teams, as 5 from the conference insures you are most likely to see two by the time sectional finals roll around.

  18. It was no secret during my playing days at my high school alma mater that at least 50% of the people in the stands were there to just watch the marching band perform at halftime. And almost all of them left after halftime and the performance was over.

  20. They can score fast. The QB does a good job of putting the ball where only his receivers can catch it. As fast as their O can score though, their D can allow scores. I could be wrong, but I thought I noticed 3-4 of their O skills going both ways. 2nd half fatigue has to factor into some of their outcomes.

  21. I'll throw this in here for giggles. I feel like we will need to play better football than we have played all year to win this game. HH vs Gibson Southern Friday, September 22nd 7:00 pm CST Kickoff @ Jack Jewell Memorial Stadium History Of The Matchup Heritage Hills (5-0) @ Gibson Southern (3-2) Gibson Southern High School Jack Jewell Memorial Stadium Friday, September 22, 2023 7:00 pm CST Kickoff This is the 50th meeting between Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern; Heritage Hills leads the overall series 33-16. The Patriots also faced three teams that consolidated into Gibson Southern High School in the 1972 and 1973 seasons. Heritage Hills went 0-2 vs Fort Branch, 1-1 vs Haubstadt and 2-0 vs Owensville. In the first season of Patriot Football, the Patriots went 9-1 and their only loss was to Fort Branch (15-12). The Titans won the first three meetings in the series by beating Roger Snow’s Patriots in 1974, 1975 and 1976. The Patriots didn’t beat the Titans for the first time until 1977, which was the year Bob Ashworth became the Patriots Head Coach. The 1977 season was Bob Clayton's only season as Offensive Coordinator at Heritage Hills before he stepped into the Head Coach role. The following season Ashworth moved onto Evansville Reitz and Clayton took over the Heritage Hills program. The Titans have won 12 of the last 18 meetings starting with a win in 2010 that snapped the Patriots streak of 21 straight wins over the Titans. Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern have played 5 overtime games in the series including a 7-0 five overtime affair in 1982. Head to Fort Branch this Friday night to cheer on our PATRIOTS AND MAKE SOME NOISE! 23. I would bet the vast majority of our fans don't even understand the whole SF thing. My desire to go back to 3A is really more a function of wanting to see different teams in the Sectional instead of the same teams we play in August and September. The closed SIAC gets redundant. Plus, it's fun to play teams like Chatard every once in a while.

  26. I feel like I have heard an opposite story from other officials. The head coach ASKED for a flag post-halftime so he justify his complaint to the AD about the band. Presumably there was a personal beef between the HC and Band Director. Which wouldn't be the first time.

  29. It's true, AI is taking over the world. Just look at how it can generate amazing responses like this one. Pretty soon, it will be able to replace Temp's top 25 list. Who needs humans when you have machines that can make better list than them? I'm sure Temp will be very happy to retire and let AI take over making his lists. Ha ha ha, just kidding. Or am I?

  31. Is Ian Moore disqualified as a result of being an offensive lineman? Is Braunte Johnson disqualified since North Side isn't as good as expected? They're averaging 54 points per game since moving him from WR to QB. It's hard to overlook something like that when talking "Mr. Football," especially considering he's going to Notre Dame as a DB. Talk about a kid who can do it all. Then you have Indiana's top ranked player and 18th in the nation, Mylan Graham, who's a major role in New Haven's best team ever.
