Kokomo @ South Bend Washington, Saturday @ noon @ School Field. Glad both teams will get a game in.5 points

No comment on the field but someone needs to get a hold of espn in they can put a fake high school on tv why not 2 top 25 schools that are in the same state5 points

Seems to me like some people are jumping to a lot of conclusions without anything more than speculation and conjecture as support. There’s really no credible public information on what was involved in the decision-making process. So any “conclusions” are really just uninformed opinion.3 points

Thank you for sharing. Life is fragile and you are correct, this really does put things in proper perspective. God is good. Praying!2 points

I think the MIC has a clear advantage at #1 (we will likely get to see it play out at Lucas Oil Stadium if I had to bet right now). The HCC's 2-4 can play with the MIC's 2-4 and have on many occasions. I honestly think the bottom three in the HCC are superior to the bottom three in the MIC. Hell, Avon is last in the HCC right now and LN needed a drive in the final minute to beat them. And LN is probably the MIC's 5th best team. Surely someone will come in here and tell me that I am wrong and act offended though. The MIC slappies hate reality.2 points

Sometimes I pick a team to win when I don't expect them to just because I know someone will see it and it will make them mad.2 points

Yes, in a personal message to @XStar. Resolve your issues there. Especially now that we know the players will be on the field Friday. That was the intitial question and it was finally answered by @eastbrookuser16.2 points

Congrats to East and all my East posters on here. I’m not happy with the result, but this has become the norm for Floyd Central fans. Snatching defeat from winnable games.1 point

He’s gonna be a stud. He’s young. Still makes mistakes. But he will be really good as a Jr/Sr.1 point

East’s QB escapes a sack on fourth and four and completes a 31 yard pass down to the Floyd Central 3. Three plays later, East with the 1 yard touchdown run. Columbus East 28 Floyd Central 14 9:10 left1 point

I think the Guerin scores might be comparable but from what I’ve read elsewhere, I thought Roncalli had some starters sitting out in the Guerin game due to being a little banged up. That said, Brebeuf may as well have had injuries but it’s hard to say since they have never really had any posters here except Coach G. One other consideration is that this is the Circle City Conference Championship game. So far Chatard has won it 3 times and Roncalli 2 times. Brebeuf has a chance to be the only team not named Chatard or Roncalli to win the CCC tonight.1 point

I thought I would add that Bloom. North's starting QB Reece Lozano is definitely out for tonight's game with New Albany and backup QB Cayden Riester will be under center.1 point

I don't care who the coach is... Playing Kokomo wouldn't benefit Webo.. Again, I have no inside sources as to what/why they didn't schedule them but gave you some reasons as to why it may not benefit. It's not always black and white (Webo is afraid to play them)... Yeah, Thorntown/Jamestown/Dover are building roundabouts currently and are looking to be the next Fishers/Carmel/Westfield. 🙄1 point

I woud love to see a Duneland team finally make it out of the North in 6A even if they were completely pasted by Center Grove; however, nobody is beating the Sectional 4 winner unless Fishers or Noblesville pull off a miracle.1 point

Obviously, you missed my point. None of us on the outside looking in can be aware of all the factors that need to be taken into consideration. The hardest thing to know — is what you don’t know. The second hardest is to admit it.1 point

Fair enough. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't have all of the details but I have heard a great deal about it. Appreciate your perspective.1 point

I think HSE could absolutely play with 2-4 in the MIC. Next three weeks will tell though. I agree on your MIC rankings and think I would still swap Zionsville and FC in the HCC (I’m fully aware of the on field result a couple of weeks ago).1 point

I didn’t agree with only one game suspension either, until I heard of the punishment that the some parents and coaches have done. I think a couple of the kids have learned from their mistakes and won’t let it happen again. It does look bad if your an outsider and only see it as a one game suspension. But trust me it was more than that on and off the field Big win for ole miss last week. I thought that they would win but not by that much… saw Campbell had like 6 TDs1 point

Caston at North White - the comets handle the vikings handily. Caston 42 North White 24 Triton at Pioneer - not sure the status of Pioneers injured backs? I'll take the Panthers at home. Pioneer 28 Triton 6 Culver at Winamac - it's nice to see everyone in weinersmack county survive quarantine and have plenty of time to play this week. Weird. Winamac 28 Culver 22 Knox at Laville - Radke adds another L to the season tonight. Laville will roll. Laville 28 Knox 0 North Judson at CMA - no love for the Bluejays? North Judson 24 CMA 211 point

I understand that, but you were pretty harsh in your judgment of the WeBo program without having more info beyond an assumption.1 point

I think rather than not being smart, officials are still clinging to the idea that they have an obligation to the kids … and to the game. But the numbers of officials are so low that there is no safety margin. It would only take 15-20% of the football officials in the state to say that they were not going to work unless — fill in the blank: pay is increased, or certain security measures are implemented, or the manner in which officials are selected for the tournament is changed, or we get to use pink beanbags, or whatever — to bring the system to a crashing halt, and require lots of rescheduling. Let me be clear. I’m not advocating that officials unionize, or engage in some sort of job action. But the powers that be ignore the possibility at their own peril.1 point

You would be surprised at what kids get away with now! We live in a different time frame. As a former coach I do not agree with it but it is what it is. The AD at Eastbrook is a great man and always does the right thing. May not always agree with everything done but these kids are doing nothing different than we did 20-30 years ago. Problem is everyone has social media and knows everyone's business! Let these kids learn from their mistakes and move on! I have seen other kids throughout the cic get away with alot worse. I hope Alexandria puts up a decent fight but not holding my breath. They will have to score 50+ to be competitive and we all know that won't happen. Alex cannot stop anyone with that defense!1 point

Old timers at Scecina in Indy were in a similar spot. Although it's not a union hall, Shi Kay has a path behind it to the locker rooms. Dad's gathered at Shi Kay while the kids practiced. Kids walked the path to the parking lot; opened the door, and a dad's name was called out for the trip home. 😄 I had 4 brothers who lived that experience.1 point

I know you take no offense to what I said, but I stand by it. Leo and East Noble are in a class of their own in that sectional from my perspective. It would take a true miracle for 1 of those 2 teams to not win Sectional 19.1 point

In another sport, my oldest ended up as an All-State player, HS All-American and later played in college. He picked up his official’s license and officiated his first game his Senior year in HS - a 5/6th grade game. After, the abuse hurled at him by parents and one particular coach (who was and is a HS coach to this day), he never officiated another game again. I hope they sue the pants off that school and anyone involved is separated permanently from the sport. There is no excuse for that.1 point

Ah, same old WRC. The good teams make the weak teams look like trash to justify their questionable, sometimes DB-ish coaching decisions. What happened to win with class? Agreed Donnie...1 point

In that event you look at the number of losses and head to head. I can't imagine Snider being penalized because their opponent canceled due to Covid. I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again more than likely. Luers could just make it easy by winning out.1 point
