It's about time the NLC thread gets back to the first page of the GID gentlemen. This is one of the predecessors to Harrison High School in West Lafayette. Back in 1970, Harrison HS had its first year after merging Klondike High, Battleground High, and East Tipp High. Those three names still remain as feeder middle schools into Harrison ... East Tipp Middle School, Battleground Middle School, and Klondike Middle School.

Linton got over the hump, that's what killed off a lot of the chatter on here. And since then they are 3-3 in the tournament with all 3 of those losses being by 19+ points. The "old days" were mainly filled with arguments trying to defend the program and show that it could compete (and win) with anyone in 1A, as they proved that they could. The "rivals" have changed, it's no longer about beating Ritter, Scecina, LCC it's about beating Southridge and Mater Dei; and then eventually more potentially bigger and better teams. So far they haven't shown the ability to do that. I don't believe that will be the situation permanently, I think it will change soon - very soon - and then we'll start to see some new rivalries be built and more interest pick back up.

I feel like coaches do. The two players I know that have contracted it, said it was nothing more than a common cold. Science shows it's not a serious threat to that age group.
